Got questions about walks, training, or bookings? Here you’ll find quick answers to the most common queries about how The Funky Tails works and what to expect.
The easiest way to book is by filling out the enquiry form or sending me a WhatsApp message directly. Once I receive your details, I’ll get in touch (usually by email or WhatsApp) to discuss your dog’s needs and confirm availability.
I currently offer walks and services in Hampstead, Primrose Hill, Highgate, Crouch End, Muswell Hill, Barnet, and Camden. If you’re nearby but not sure if you’re within range, just send me a message — I’ll do my best to accommodate you.
Yes! I have experience working with reactive dogs and can offer multiple approaches depending on your dog’s needs. I always take things at the dog’s pace while providing clear, calm, and consistent guidance so they can start building confidence over time.
Absolutely — I walk dogs of all ages! Puppies are a joy to work with, and we can tailor a plan that supports both their exercise and early training needs.
I keep my walks small to ensure each dog gets plenty of attention and guidance. Group walks are usually limited to four dogs, but I also offer solo walks for dogs who prefer one-on-one time.
Each walk is adapted to the dog’s needs but always includes plenty of time to explore, play, and just be dogs. Structure, safety, and proper play are always a priority — I make sure all dogs learn to socialise calmly and confidently, building towards peaceful coexistence and neutrality while still having fun. For group walks, I always ensure dogs are well-matched in temperament and energy levels. I also keep owners updated with photos or short messages whenever possible.
Walks go ahead in most conditions — a bit of rain never stops us! However, if the weather is unsafe (for example, extreme heat, storms, or ice), I’ll get in touch to discuss alternatives, such as a shorter visit or an indoor enrichment session.
Yes, I’m fully insured for dog walking and pet care, am DBS checked, and hold a license to walk on Hampstead Heath. Your dog’s safety and wellbeing are always my top priorities.
Yes! In addition to walks, I offer holiday stays, daycare days, drop-in visits, puppy check-ins, and basic training support. If you have something specific in mind, let’s chat — I’m happy to create a plan that fits your dog’s needs.
Yes, I always offer a free trial walk so we can talk through your dog’s needs and give them a chance to get comfortable with me before their first official outing.
