Inspired by her journey with her own dogs, Chunk and Moosh, The Funky Tails was built through science-led, relationship-focused training centred around understanding canine behaviour and communication, empathy, and connection.
Offering tailored one-to-one sessions alongside real-world group training classes across North London, Elisa helps dogs and owners build calm, confident partnerships while supporting each dog’s emotional, physical, and breed-specific needs through real-life foundations.

1:1 Training & Packages
Tailored to the individual dog in front of us, 1:1 sessions and training packages provide thoughtful, relationship-focused support for puppies, reactive dogs, working breeds, and gundogs. More than just obedience training, sessions focus on building calmness, confidence, emotional wellbeing, and practical real-life skills through clear communication and partnership-based guidance.
Day Training
Your dog spends the day with Elisa’s pack through a combination of structured group walks, learning appropriate social skills and exposure, alongside tailored 1:1 training working toward goals established together. More than just a dog walk or traditional daycare, day training provides a structured learning experience focused on confidence, engagement, and real-life skills.
Group Classes
From neutral walks and puppy adventure sessions to confidence club, off-lead social walks, and gundog workshops, group classes are designed to help dogs and owners build practical real-world skills together. Focused on calm social interactions, engagement, confidence, and communication, sessions provide a supportive community environment where dogs can learn to navigate everyday urban life successfully.
Board & Train
Board and train offers your dog the opportunity to immerse themselves in structured daily training within Elisa’s home and pack environment. Whether supporting reactivity, helping working breeds thrive in city life, or setting puppies up for success, programmes combine tailored training, real-world exposure, and calm routine to build confidence, engagement, emotional balance, and practical life skills.
